Q: Rain or Shine? Its Raining, will the Market still be open? A: Yes the Market is open Rain or Shine. Q: What time does the Market start? What time does the Market Start? A: The Market opens at 9:00 am. Q: What can I buy at the Market? What is sold at the Market? A: On any given day you might find: Annuals, Perennials, Berries, Fruits, Vegetables in season. Baskets. Milk, Cheese, Eggs. Bread, Cookies, Muffins, Pies. Baked Goods. Maple Syrup. Crafts, Pottery, Lotions, Soaps, Quilts, Clothes, Jewelry, Doll Clothes. Wood Crafts. Photography. Q: How do I Join the Market? I am a Farmer/Crafter/ Grower and I would like to Join the Market. How do I go about it? A: email Lisa@BarreFarmersMarket.com for a sign up sheet and rules list. Review the rules and fill out your form. Bring them with you along with your payment to the Market on your first day. Q: How much does it cost? I would like to Join the Market, how much does it cost? A: The cost of Membership is $30.00 for the season. Q: Can I try out the Market? I am not sure that the Farmers Market is for me. Is there any way that I can try it out for one day? A: At the market master's discretion, at the cost of $15.00 for that day. You may try out the Market. If you choose to come back you will only owe $15.00 for your dues for the rest of the season. The Market Master has final say if applicants may try out the Market. Q: Who can sell at the Market? Who can sell at the Market? A: Growers, Bakers and crafters may sell at the Farmers' Market, but all items must be home grown or homemade. Q: What are the rules about selling plants? I am interested in selling some plants. What are the rules? A: Growers must have plants for at least 7 weeks to be considered grown by them and okay to sell at the Market. Plants started as seeds by you, may be sold at any time. The Farmers Market executive commitee may conducct visits to all Vendors to provide Validation that all products are home grown or homemade. Q: Do I need to bring my own tables? Do you provide tables/tents? A: No, you should bring your own tables and tents. Q: What size are the spaces at the Market? I would like to set up my tent, what is the size of the space available? A: When you sign up you will recieve a 10x10 space by the Market Master Earl. Regular Vendors will be given designated spaces. Additional space is available at a cost of $30.00 for another 10x10. Q: Disputes/Issues I am having problems with another Member. What should I do? A: The Market Master will handle disputes calling on members of the Executive Committee when necessart. All complaints should be brought to the Market Master's attention in writing. Vendors must respect all decisions made by the Market Master. Disputes will be settled in an Executive Committee meeting. Rude behavior will not be tolerated. |
